How To Create 3d Art

broken image

  • ZW3D is a CAD CAM application for 3D modeling, machining, and mold design. It is specially designed for mechanical engineers to help them optimize their design workflow in Microsoft interface and create efficient models in both 2D and 3D. It's a lightweight tool that allows you to load BIG models without losing performance.
  • Form is the element of art that describes the 3D qualities of an artwork. In drawing, you can create the illusion of form by using another element of art called value. Value is a range of darkness to light or, simply put, shading. Three-dimensional objects reflect light in the areas where they are closest to us.
  • While built for 3D modeling of shapes, doodles, designs, and landscapes, Microsoft Paint 3D can also handle text, although it might not immediately be apparent how to make it three dimensional.

Create high-quality 3D exhibitions of your art. Share them with gallerists, collectors or friends. Embed them into your own website or blog.

Hyemin Lee, Solo Exhibition

21 Dec 2020 – 23 Jan 2021

Hyemin Lee represent her personal experiences from childhood to the present day; she uses materials that evoke the inconsequential and the fragile, such as old fabric, broken wooden frames, and plaster bandages for treating patients in hospitals. The artist brings a new life to these formerly insignificant and incomplete materials. Her art is almost always inspired by her own experiences, whether physical or emotional. Hyemin Lee's best known series of works, constructed from numerous small hand-sewn fabric pillows qmd made out of Hanbok Clothing (Korean traditional cloth) this evoke the artist's personal memories, dreams, and hopes. Formed from the discarded bed linen and clothes of the artist's family and friends, the pillows are textile repositories of individual memory. Multiplied in many layers, this soft and rather fragile domestic items gain great power. Hyemin Lee's works transform things that we normally treat as tangential into main agents. The groupings of vividly colored pillows, facing up and down, resemble life itself, entangled in emotions, experiences, and relationships. Another of her series, Waves, is a collection of plaster bandages shaped into lace-like waves. In Hyemin Lee's most recent work, she uses plaster bandages malleable when wet, but solid and unbreakable once dry. The artist takes advantage of the material's trans-formative power to create the illusion of frail, delicate waves that are in fact both serene and strong. Softness does not mean weakness. Biography Hyemin Lee studied Sculpture in Seoul National University, after which she completed her MA at NYU. She held solo exhibitions at a number of galleries in several cities, including Seoul and New York. She also participated in group shows at Art Basel Hong Kong (2016), Jeonbuk Province Art Museum (2016), KIAF, Seoul (2016), Busan Art Fair (2016), Sylvia Ko Gallery, NY(2014), and more. Lee frequently travels around and works in both Korea and the USA. For more information concerning the artist artwork, please contact HelioArt. Info@helioart.co.kr +82 2 511 3201

Levity of Light

15 Dec 2020 – 15 Dec 2021

Heidi Thompson's paintings emanate light while still giving an illusion of depth for the metaphorical labyrinths that are laid out within them. Here is a painter of rare intuition who knows what she is about. Her work speaks directly to the hearts and minds of her viewers. Her spiritual practice enables, inflects and sustains paintings that are about trust and clarity, above all. If I call her painting ‘healing' here, it is because I have been changed by her art. Indeed, I salute her integrity, her discipline, her resilient spirit of affirmation, and the meditative intensity of her work. Thompson's belief that beauty can heal the world is borne out in her paintings. There can be no higher compliment. There is no higher achievement. -- James D. Karen Smithee - Shelter in Place, 2020

18 Dec 2020 – 18 Jan 2021

Artist Statement My interest lies in the relationship individuals have with location, place, and color that spark memories. My paintings are psychological in nature, exploring the myths and stories we create for ourselves to give our lives meaning. We can create our own reality in the act of observation. My work is about paying close attention to our emotions and how our perspective is tied to it in a circle of reciprocity. I am attracted to the uninhibited flow and pattern that paint creates. This allows me the freedom to experiment with the nature of paint. Gravity is an important aspect for a less controlled element of mark making, as well as, using the palette knife. Existence contains many visual moments that can be captured in the most essential elements of life. I work to trace these forms through an open-minded and evolution of making marks and forms. Using expressionistic figures and landscapes connects my human desire to explain and capture the world around me. Even in static images that are rendered in loose lines and brush strokes I include movement and energy, which suggest my own connection with the things and people I paint. I want to avoid a straightforward reading which allows the images to retain their secrets and put the viewer to work in finding a common human thread of intimacy, affection, and atmosphere that create memorable moments in life. Artist Biography Karen Smithee was born in 1966 in Redwood City, California. In December 2020, she will receive her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Studio Art at California State University, Stanislaus. Smithee has already been included in various important exhibitions including Penumbra, Stanislaus State Literary and Art Journal, Turlock CA; 'Nature' Art Exhibition, Light Space & Time, Online Art Gallery, Palm Springs, CA; Celebration of the Humanities, Modesto Junior College, CA; and Autumn Art, Festival, Mistlin Gallery, Modesto CA. She was honored with the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship in 2020, and several SERSCA Program Grants from California State University, Stanislaus. Smithee currently lives and works in Oakdale, California. To view her work, visit karensmithee.weebly.com/

Dorr Bothwell

How

Dorr Bothwell left her unique imprint on Mendocino and, as with so many who come to Mendocino, Mendocino also left its mark on her. A brief biography on the website of her longtime dealer, the Tobey C. Moss Gallery, alludes to a change in focus which coincides with Dorr Bothwell's move to Mendocino: 'A thread of surreality and abstraction is observed in her paintings of the late 1920s through the 1950s, overtaken by her irrepressible gusto for life and nature.' That 'irrepressible gusto' produced the vibrant collages, the serigraphs, the paintings of Mendocino cats and fences, and the large format metaphysical artwork of Dorr Bothwell's last forty years.

Have we lost our mornings—or our experience of mornings—because of the certainty we ascribe to them? 'As surely as the sun rises'. Now more than ever, being in demand and always on the go has become a kind of status symbol. My works are an invitation for the viewer to take a moment to be still and hopefully, from this silence, there might grow a sense of presence that allows for other presences, of people and surroundings that we hardly spare a glance at as we rush through the day. I'm a morning person and these are my daily and occasional encounters. I captured sun-drenched scenes of people and their colored shadows—portraits of the morning, if you will. I am both a witness and a participant in those moments: the breaking of dawn and the cool air fading as the sun's warmth radiates; the ringing of a school bell interrupted by the dark timbre of the church bell, the sound of a honking car overtaken by the sudden whistling from a neighbor's kettle; the aroma of coffee and fried rice mingling with the smell of 'siga' from meticulously gathered fallen leaves set aflame. And yet sometimes there come circumstances beyond our control that will make our experience of the morning light so much different from what we have always experienced. The morning surely comes but also always it is fleeting. - Adeo Sta. Juana, artist

Matt Gatton: Photo-Sculpture Pioneer

16 Dec 2020 – 16 Jan 2021

Gatton is a pioneer of photo-sculpture as fine art medium, having worked in the field since the 1980s. During his time in New York in the early 1990s, Gatton's photo-sculpture work brought him into contact with many important art world figures, including Chuck Close, Richard Avedon, and Duane Michals. Gatton has also collaborated with noted conceptual artist Judy Freya Sibayan (under the curatorial direction of Hou Hanru and Hans-Ulrich Obrist). Gatton has exhibited extensively, including works in the Hayward Gallery, London, UK, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki Finland, and PS1 Contemporary Arts Center, New York, USA, and the Ayala Museum, Manila, Philippines. The artist is known in the wider world for his theoretical work. He has written on the origins of art for the Festschrift of renowned Oxford art historian and da Vinci expert, Martin Kemp. Gatton has lectured at the Institute of Archaeology at Oxford and other august European institutions. A large arts festival in Belgium was themed on Gatton's art origin theory, which was also presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson on Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey. Gatton's work on optics in ancient Greek religious rituals is due out on Oxford University Press later this year. He is also among the credited founders of the field of Archaeo-optics. 'With all the intellectual bona fides,' curator Naomi Stuecker says, 'it's easy to forget that Matt Gatton is, first and foremost, a stunningly talented artist.'

제9회 개인전 '자연의 고리'

14 Mar 2018 – 19 Mar 2018

The Exploration of Drawing

10 Dec 2020 – 10 Jan 2021

This exhibition is comprised of a collection of student work that centers around the processes of both traditional and experimental drawing methods. Due to the unique nature of this show, these works come to you from around the globe from participants, each experiencing the world from different communities, environments, and situations. Showcasing widely varied investigative processes exploring the boundaries of drawing. Instead of succumbing to the limitations and disadvantages of the current social climate, the exhibit participants continue to flourish and create despite being in the confines of quarantine. It exemplifies how these artists not only create transformative work but transformative spaces as they adjust to non-traditional studio settings. Participants have strived to come together in a time of isolation to bring forward innovative ideas and questions reflected in their work. While the subjects portrayed in this exhibit are not all about the pandemic, every piece serves as an example of how creators are finding new ways to communicate, critique, and create with one another. This exhibition combines translations of time, sound, and scale through the process of drawing. Using experimental methods, participants have tackled intangible human experiences to produce works that push the traditional confines of what can be drawn and what can be considered a drawing
